We teach fun and positive, reward-based training programs using current methods recommended by animal behaviourists. Niagara Group Dog Training ClassesWe teach several levels of obedience courses. All exercises within the courses can be varied in difficulty to suit individual dog and handler’s needs Group puppy training classes develop dogs into good canine citizens. They are beneficial for proper socialization and developing a good work ethic under distractions. Classes are open to all breeds and ages. With a low dog-instructor ratio, you won’t be overlooked in our classes! To ensure adequate individual attention, we limit each class to four dogs. Besides obedience, we also cover topics such as leadership in the home, NILF, effective problem solving techniques, how to prep dogs for grooming and vet visits, body scoring etc. Classes are taught out of St. John's Anglican Church in Stevensville. We have access to an indoor gym and outdoor fenced field. Each class runs one hour per week for seven weeks. Call ahead to observe a class!
Private Puppy Training Classes in NiagaraOne-on-one private, in-home training sessions are taught in and around the Niagara Region. These sessions focus strictly on you and your dog. Each session is flexible and tailored to your individual needs. Private training classes are beneficial for clients who are unable to travel or commit to a set class time each week. Dogs or puppies displaying behaviour problems primarily noted in the home are prime candidates for private sessions i.e. house training issues, issues when greeting guests, counter surfing etc. Dogs who also display more serious issues such as separation anxiety or reactivity towards situations, people and dogs will find private sessions helpful. For many individuals, some private instruction can be a stepping stone to safely and successfully completing a group class. Private classes can be purchased per session or in a block of sessions.
